Family Resource Specialist

The Upper East Tennessee Human Development Agency, Inc., Head Start Program, is now accepting applications for a Full-Time Family Resource Specialist serving both Greene and Hawkins Counties:

 Duties include, but are not limited to: Serves as an advocate and case-worker for Head Start children and their families to ensure health/social services are provided.  Responsibilities include recruitment and enrollment of eligible children, insuring daily attendance, documenting services, maintaining the data management system, and arranging for and participating in monthly parent meetings. 

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor of Social Work, A. S. in Social Work or a degree deemed related or Social Services Competency Based Training(SSCBT);

* Valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and proof of liability auto insurance;

* Must be willing to obtain “F” endorsement within 90 days of employment

Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:

* Effective communication – both written and oral

* Superior organizational skills

* Computer literacy skills (data entry into data management system)
